Healthy Eating

The Grange promotes healthy eating and all meals are freshly cooked daily using a variety of locally produced ingredients wherever possible. No fizzy drinks, chocolate or savoury snacks are sold in school. The new style KS3 Dining Hall offers a sandwich/deli bar, soup bar, jacket potato bar and milkshake and smoothie bar all serving healthy food and drinks.

In June 2007 the Canteen Staff at the School were awarded a Gold Award for Healthy Eating by Shropshire County Council.

The School was awarded Healthy Schools Celebration of Success in 2009 by Shropshire County Council and Shropshire County Primary Care Trust.

The school operates a biometric meal payment system.
