Illness and Accident

If your child is ill or has an accident whilst at School, we shall make every effort to notify you. It is important, therefore, that you notify the School of a telephone number through which you can be contacted during the day.

Please also make sure the School is notified if you move house or change your mobile telephone number, to ensure that the School holds up to date contact information should we need to contact you urgently.

All parents/carers will be required to sign a form of consent to allow medical treatment to be administered to their child in the event of an emergency.

The Area Health Authority, through the School, will contact you about medical treatment which they administer at the School from time to time.

Please contact your child's Form Tutor if your child is prescribed medication by your family doctor which they are required to bring to School and take during the School day.

Please do not send your child to school if he/she shows genuine signs of illness.
